NEST : National Entrance Screening Test

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to the 5-year Integrated MSc program in basic sciences at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The exam evaluates candidates’ aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology through a computer-based test. Designed for students who have completed or are appearing for Class 12 with a science stream, NEST serves as a gateway for those aspiring to build a career in scientific research and higher studies in the field of science.
