Scoring 360/360 in NEET Biology is entirely possible by treating the Class 11 and 12 NCERT textbooks as your absolute priority. Over 95% of the biology questions in the NEET exam are framed directly from NCERT text lines, chapter summaries, and diagram labels.

Biology makes up 50% of the NEET paper. If you drop marks here, recovering them in Physics or Chemistry is exceptionally difficult.

Active Reading vs. Passive Highlighting

Reading the NCERT book five times passively will not help. You must engage in active recall. After reading a paragraph, close the book and try to explain the concept aloud. Write down the keywords.

Decoding NCERT Diagrams

NTA frequently creates questions directly from the labels of NCERT diagrams. Pay special attention to:

  • Human Physiology anatomical charts.

  • Plant morphology and anatomy cross-sections.

  • The graphs in the Ecology chapters (e.g., population growth curves).

The Role of Mock Tests

Once you have memorized the NCERT, the challenge shifts to recalling that information under pressure. You need to solve at least 100-150 MCQs per chapter.

NEET Coaching at Singularity Educators
